Hello #sewphotohop! My name is Becky and I live in Victoria, Canada on the unceded lands of the Lkwungen people. I learned to sew in high school, but I didn’t sew very much until about 5 years ago, and these days I sew all the things! I love being able to make clothes that fit my body and style. Outside of sewing… I work at the university, I’m a leadership coach, I’m a partner in a design firm and most recently I started selling some of my handmade items at craft fairs! I love being involved in lots of different things and I also love deep rest to balance that out. Sewing can be both sides of that for me, an exciting activity that keeps my brain engaged or a restful activity where I slow down.
